There is a footnote on the favorable and unfavorable conditions. It says that certain things will increase and decrease certain DCs, however the increases and decreases are backwards. For example, it says " Background noise might reduce a DC involving hearing" which implies that background noise would make it easier to hear, when in fact it is the opposite.
